Today, I am thrilled to announce Appointed Intelligence™, a bold new vision for artificial intelligence in business. Appointed Intelligence is more than a product, it’s the name of a new category of AI, one that we are defining and leading from day one. In an era of ever-growing “smart” software, we see a need for something different: AI that is deliberately appointed to serve specific roles, decisions, and missions within an organization. Just as you appoint a trusted expert to a critical position, Appointed Intelligence appoints AI as a responsible agent working on your behalf. It’s AI with a purpose, AI with accountability, a partnership between human strategy and machine intelligence that is designed, from the ground up, to drive results.

For too long, “Artificial Intelligence” has been a catch-all buzzword, often lacking clarity on how it truly helps businesses. We believe the next wave of innovation is Appointed Intelligence,  AI that’s hand-picked, trained, and entrusted to tackle the exact challenges you face. This means AI systems that can be delegated important tasks with confidence, operating under your direction and values. Appointed Intelligence shifts the narrative from AI as an artificial, uncontrolled force to AI as an appointed ally, a reliable extension of your team.

What does Appointed Intelligence look like in practice? It means software that doesn’t just learn, it understands its mandate. Just as “conversational marketing” became the rallying concept for a whole new approach to customer engagement[2], Appointed Intelligence™ will define a new approach to AI: one where businesses appoint AI to specific, value-driving duties.

Our mission at AgentOBO Inc. is to establish Appointed Intelligence as the new normal in AI-powered SaaS. In practical terms, that means delivering a platform that is powerful yet accessible, authoritative in its capabilities, but always aligned with human direction. It also means leading an educational narrative. Over the coming weeks and months, you’ll see us publish deep-dive content on what Appointed Intelligence means, how it works, and the principles that guide it. We’ll share success stories of early adopters who are already appointing AI agents in their workflows and seeing transformative results. We view this as not just a product launch, but the launch of a community and conversation around a new category of technology.
